Citruseal for Cigarette Packs

Citrus pack developed ‘Citruseal’ labels for cigarette packs. Designed with a low-tack or specially formulated repositionable adhesive, these labels can be opened and resealed multiple times without losing their adhesion strength or damaging the pack. This feature is especially useful in flip-top or soft pack formats, where consumers may not finish the contents in a single use. By resealing the pack, the label helps protect the cigarettes from air exposure, thereby preserving their moisture, aroma, and quality.

Additionally, the use of paper substrates aligns with industry efforts to move toward eco-friendly packaging. These labels can be printed with branding elements or security features, offering both functionality and shelf appeal. As a simple yet effective enhancement, repositionable labels are redefining how cigarette packaging can deliver freshness and user satisfaction with minimal environmental impact.
